Privacy Policy

Effective date: 7 October 2026.

1. Who we are. PickedCo (pickedco.com) is a deal-discovery publication. We find products sold on AliExpress and link you to the seller's page. We are not a store and do not sell, ship, or price any product.

2. Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we keep your email address and use it solely to send you deal emails. You can unsubscribe with one click in any email, or write to [email protected] and we will delete it.

3. What we never do. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not show third-party advertising, and we do not buy or combine data about you from other companies.

4. Account connections. PickedCo connects only the social accounts that PickedCo itself operates (TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest), so that it can publish its own product videos and pins. The site does not offer visitors any way to connect a social account, and no visitor is ever asked to link one.

5. Data we receive from connected accounts. Connecting an account gives us a limited access token that lets us publish to that account. It never reveals the account password to us. We can also read the connected account's own public profile details, such as its username and profile image, so that the site knows which account it is publishing to. No other account's data is read.

6. Permissions we request. We ask each platform only for the minimum permissions needed to publish our own content. TikTok: read our own basic profile and upload videos (Login Kit and Content Posting API). YouTube: upload videos, read our own channel status, and set the title, description and tags of the videos we upload. Pinterest: read and write our own boards and pins. No permission is used to read, collect, or act on any other person's account or data.

6a. Google and YouTube data. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use it only to upload our own videos to our own channel and to confirm that they published correctly. We do not sell it, share it, transfer it, use it for advertising, or allow any person to read it. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page.

7. How we store connection tokens. Tokens are stored securely on our server and used only to publish our own product videos and pins. Posting runs automatically on a schedule. Access can be revoked at any time from the connected account's own settings.

8. Cookies and browser storage. We use a small amount of browser storage so the site works: we remember which products you saved and are interested in, and we set a short-lived cookie to keep the videos area private. These stay in your browser and do not identify you to third parties. You can clear them anytime from your browser settings.

8a. How we count visits and link clicks. We count page views and clicks on product links ourselves, on our own server, to learn which pages, guides and deals are actually useful. A count records only: the page path, the website that referred you (if any), your country, whether the request came from an automated crawler, and a one-way hash of your IP address that changes every day. We never store your IP address itself. This uses no cookies and no third-party analytics service, and because the hash changes daily it cannot be used to follow you across days or across other websites.

9. Email service provider. To deliver the newsletter we use a third-party email provider (Resend), which processes your email address only to send the messages you requested.

10. AliExpress. Product links take you to AliExpress. Once you leave our site, AliExpress's own privacy policy applies, including any cookies it sets and any data it collects about your purchase.

11. How long we keep data. We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep connection tokens only while the connected account remains linked. We do not retain deleted data.

12. Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise any of these, email contact@pickedco.com and we will respond within 30 days.

13. Children. The site is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

14. Security. We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), to protect the limited data we hold. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

15. Changes. We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top always shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
